The cloud-first strategies of businesses across sectors are maturing, with DevOps teams playing a leading role More than half (51%) of financial services businesses in Europe have a strategy to put IT in the cloud wherever possible, and 84% expected to do so within two years, with DevOps teams leading the way.

  1. This was a truly motivating and insightful read — thanks for highlighting the mindset behind effective DevOps teams rather than just the tools or processes. I especially appreciated the emphasis on a can-do attitude and how that mindset fuels collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement, because those qualities make a much bigger difference in long-term success than any specific technology alone. The way you connected attitude to tangible outcomes like faster feedback loops, fewer handoffs, and more resilient systems really resonated with me — it shows that DevOps is as much a cultural shift as it is a technical practice. I also liked how the narrative didn’t shy away from the challenges teams face when adopting this mindset, which makes the guidance feel grounded and relatable instead of idealized. One suggestion for future posts might be a few brief examples or stories from teams who’ve successfully embraced this mindset and the concrete improvements they saw, but even without that this feels like an inspiring and practical read. Thanks again for sharing this perspective!

DevSecOps: Paradigm shifts are messy, but someone’s got to take the lead

A perfect storm of factors brewing in the dev, ops, and security worlds have created a window of opportunity to embed security into the application delivery lifecycle, in a needle-moving kind of way. However, security teams need to be the ones driving the DevSecOps charge or that needle will barely wobble. Given how many security practitioners spend their days putting out fires, adding “DevSecOps evangelist” to their job description is more likely to elicit groans than spur the desire to innovate application security. As understandable as that may be, unless security teams can create the groundswell needed for DevSecOps to stick, then another paradigm shift in computing will occur in which security gets Read More Click Here Reference:- This article was published on BestDevOps.com
