  1. Thanks for sharing this workshop opportunity — it looks like a fantastic way to get hands-on experience with some of the most important practices in modern software delivery! I especially appreciate how the focus goes beyond basic DevOps concepts and includes CI/CD and DevSecOps, because integrating security early into the development pipeline is something many teams struggle with in real environments. The way you’ve highlighted practical exercises and real-world scenarios makes this feel very relevant for both newcomers and experienced professionals who want to strengthen their workflows and automation strategies. I also liked the balance between foundational topics and advanced practices; it gives the impression that attendees will walk away with knowledge they can apply immediately rather than just theory. If I could suggest one thing for future posts, it might be to include a sample session agenda or a few testimonials from past participants — that would help readers understand what specific outcomes to expect. Overall, this seems like a thoughtfully designed and highly valuable workshop for anyone serious about improving delivery speed, reliability, and security — thanks again for posting!

  2. This workshop outline captures the essential, integrated learning path from DevOps to CI/CD and DevSecOps that was so valuable several years ago. While the core principles of automating pipelines and shifting security left remain foundational, the specific tools and cloud-native practices have evolved significantly. Today, an equivalent workshop would likely delve deeper into GitOps patterns, infrastructure-as-code with tools like Terraform or Pulumi, and security scanning integrated directly into cloud CI/CD services. It's a great reminder of how quickly the landscape moves and why continuous learning is at the heart of DevOps itself.

DevSecOps: Paradigm shifts are messy, but someone’s got to take the lead

A perfect storm of factors brewing in the dev, ops, and security worlds have created a window of opportunity to embed security into the application delivery lifecycle, in a needle-moving kind of way. However, security teams need to be the ones driving the DevSecOps charge or that needle will barely wobble. Given how many security practitioners spend their days putting out fires, adding “DevSecOps evangelist” to their job description is more likely to elicit groans than spur the desire to innovate application security. As understandable as that may be, unless security teams can create the groundswell needed for DevSecOps to stick, then another paradigm shift in computing will occur in which security gets Read More Click Here Reference:- This article was published on BestDevOps.com
